At Climbing Fish, we believe that everyone has the right to access the necessary support and adaptations to achieve their own success. Our innovative approach to emotional mentoring, school and family support, yoga and inclusive packages sets me apart, ensuring that everyone has a chance to shine.
Services
Bespoke student support.
Bespoke support sessions based upon identifying the needs of the young person and working together to create a programme of support sessions. This can include emotional wellbeing, understanding their SEND self, life skills, talking sessions, academic subject specific lessons. These can be online or face to face and are usually weekly.

EOTAS / home school education
We also offer comprehensive sessions to support your young person if they aren't accessing school. These can include - emotional literacy, SEN interventions, pastoral support groups or mental health matters.
October 2024 - We have some capacity for sessions with young people during the school day.
SEND Support services
Support for schools
As a teacher and senior leader, Liz, has 24 years experience in schools and a is qualified SENDCo we can offer bespoke support packages to schools. Having secured an "outstanding " SEND judgement in her last mainstream school Liz can work with you to secure what is needed.
Support for parents / carers
Consultations and advisory services offered to parents and carers to better understand the education system and how to support your young person. We can offer EHCP application support, annual review paperwork support or bespoke support on understanding the SEND process.
Yoga teaching
In this current world we live in, the benefits of yoga are limitless. We offer adapted adult and young people yoga classes, 1-1 sessions, schools based sessions for staff / parents or students . We can also incorporate yoga into other services we offer.

About us
Climbing Fish is a innovative educational support provider dedicated to empowering young people through emotional self understanding . Set up by Liz who has worked in schools for over 24 years whose passion to provide a service of support for young people and their families is relentless. Placing a huge commitment to listening to young people's voices and using this to drive the support needed. Whilst also offering bespoke support for parents and carers. We aim to deliver exceptional and informed support that makes a real difference in the lives of our young people.
Climbing fish also offers bespoke support for schools. As a freelance SENDCo this can involve supporting schools with paperwork, offering whole school CPD or targetted support for staff or students. Building upon years worth of experience in schools and understanding how staff need that support just as much as our young people do too!
